To qualify for the Florida Academic Scholars Award, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and a minimum score of 1290 on the SAT or 29 on the ACT. To qualify for the Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Award, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum score of 970 on the SAT or 20 on the ACT.

In addition to the academic requirements, students must also complete at least 100 hours of community service and maintain a clean criminal record. Students must also submit a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The deadline to apply for the Bright Futures program is December 13, 2022.
